Young Collectors Corner Workshop for Children

Are you interested in collecting coins, currency, or learning about money? Are you a Scout looking to earn your Coin Collecting Merit Badge or Fun With Money Patch? Young people between the ages of 5 and 17 are invited to learn about the fun hobby of coin collecting!

Join us for our Young Collectors Corner Program at the ANA's World's Fair of Money® in Oklahoma City. We will explore the wonderful world of coin collecting at its most basic levels. The program will cover hobby information such as:

► What is money?

► Coin identification, including the parts of a coin and banknotes.

► How coins and banknotes are made.

► Collecting basics, including ways to collect, storage and grading.

► Various ANA programs available to Young Numismatists.

► Requirements necessary for Scouts to earn a CCMB or FWM Patch*

Time/Date: Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 9am-11am. (Check in is at 8:30am.)

Where: World's Fair of Money, Oklahoma City, OK

Cost: FREE to attend, and children will earn several prizes, including coins, paper money, a Red Book** and more!

Pre-Registration is strongly encouraged.

*All Scouts and Scout Leaders are encouraged to wear their uniforms, but it is not required. Be sure to bring your Blue Cards to get signed. To earn your Coin Collecting Merit Badge or Fun With Money Patch, please bring the required coins with you. The instructor(s) on hand have fulfilled the Scouts Youth Protection Training requirements. FWM Patches will be available for Girl Scouts.
